Workshops for hire
Biblical grounding.
Practical equipping.
We dig deep. We all bring our backgrounds, our ideas, our questions - and we learn and discuss together. We come to do the work - and it’s a blast.
For most, it is the first time being equipped for the practical work of justice in a faith-oriented setting.
I would love to provide in-depth training for your group on the work of justice, God’s design of justice, understanding and preventing injustice.
A sample workshop series:
Week 1 | Justice + injustice
Week 2 | The work of justice
Week 3 | Confronting injustice
Week 4 | Repair after injustice
These workshops are for people who already believe justice matters and are ready to prepare to understand, prevent, and confront injustice in their everyday lives.
These workshops work.
-
"After doing this, I was excited to find that I really was prepared when an unjust situation came up in my workplace. In the past I have not known what to do (and therefore done nothing). But this time I was ready and able to address it productively!"
-
"The aha moment for me was understanding the difference between charity and justice. Before this study, I saw them as interchangeable. This also took justice out of the political soundbite realm and grounded it in Scripture."
-
"I used to see justice as an 'extra' in the Christian faith. This helped me see how integral it is to our calling. I was challenged to think much more deeply about injustice from a biblical perspective."
-
"This is so empowering because it gives me a starting place to address the issues I’ve cared about for a long time. This has been transformative."
-
"I feel much more equipped with tools to see and identify injustice, along with steps I can walk through to help identify it, name it, address it."
-
"I particularly appreciated the practical application focus that answers the question ‘What can I do about injustice?’"
