But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. | Amos 5:24
Equipping the Church
for the work of justice.
Biblical grounding and practical tools that you need to do justice in your everyday life so our communities and churches can flourish.
● See Justice in Scripture
● Get Equipped with Tools
● Do Justice in Real Life
We can’t do what we haven’t been taught to do.
“I’m so passionate about justice and have learned so much - but I still feel stuck when it comes to what to DO.”
As with any skill, if we haven’t learned how to do justice, it seems intimidating, overwhelming, and impossible.
For us to do this work effectively for the long-term, we need to be trained for it, just like any other biblical mandate. Instead:
We lack the biblical grounding and practical equipping for the work of justice that we are called to do
Some of us have been actively discouraged from learning to do justice by faith leaders who characterized justice as impossible or unnecessary
The good news is that the Bible is full of incredible stories and specific instruction on the ways and work of justice.
Equipping people who care about injustice
with the tools they need to do something about it
Hi, I’m Sarah and I also wasn’t born knowing how to do justice.
My whole adult life, I have been learning what it takes to understand and address injustice.
25 years of studying the topic of justice in the Bible
25 years of professional experience working for cultural, structural, and relational justice across four continents
Master’s Degree in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics
Since 2016, I have been training and guiding people from all across the world in understanding justice and injustice more deeply and learning the nuts and bolts of making the world around them a more just place. I hope you will join us!

Justice equipping works:
It’s amazing what people can do when they’re prepared + equipped.
-
now has a roadmap for restarting the GED center that was removed from her community.
-
ran into a situation of injustice at work and knew exactly what to do – because she is prepared. She was able to speak up immediately against the proposed policy change that would disproportionately impact her lower-income colleagues.
-
now sees justice and injustice everywhere in Scripture in ways he never had before.
-
starts an ongoing conversation with the elders at her church about implementing changes that could prevent injustice in their congregation.
-
starts to read the news differently and see systemic injustice more clearly around her.
-
looks in a different way at how his neighbors are being treated and starts a conversation with them about finding systemic solutions.
-
has a concrete, positive vision of what justice is - for the first time in her life.
-
takes the training to her own small group, using the Bible studies to equip people in her circles.
-
takes home some new justice-oriented approaches to parenting her five young kids.
-
jumps in to support those who advocate for equity and quality in our education system. Then links up with advocacy efforts in her community for affordable housing.
“While I've participated in many conversations and bible studies on justice and injustice, I never experienced such a biblical focus on the ‘work of justice’ - the steps from investigation to reform. This was new to me and very helpful.”
